Qualiflow buildingQualiflow is an innovative supplier specialized in fluid flow control. The company develops, manufactures and markets components and systems for thin film deposition: such as mass flow controllers, liquid flow controllers, valves, RTP and vaporization systems.

Final users are found in high tech domain, semiconductor or optical fiber manufacturers. Qualiflow has strengthened its position in taking 33% of Lintec in Japan and in acquiring Jipelec both leader for liquid vaporization systems. This major step concerns key technology for liquid evaporation, necessary in the manufacturing of the next generation of integrated circuits.

Qualiflow maintains an extensive R&D effort to preserve the company's technological edge and competitiveness. Technological innovation, the keystone of Qualiflow's business strategy, is exemplified by active participation in research programs like Anvar, an innovative agency based in France, and Eureka, a European program that supports research.

Based in Montpellier, France, the company has approximately 20 employees worldwide and maintains a global network of technical centers in Montpellier France, Tokyo, Japan and Fremont, California. Qualiflow is currently expanding its marketing efforts throughout the globe, particularly in the U.S. and Asia.

Qualiflow is a Semi member since 1986. [Top]

The Markets

Semiconductor Industry
During the different wafer processing stages of semiconductor production, wafers are subject to a variety of gas processes for which ultra high purity gas flow control systems are required. Qualiflow products are used in most of these processes, including epitaxy, high-energy ion implantation, gas phase chemical deposition and plasma etching.

Fiber Optics
Qualiflow actively markets its ultra high purity gas flow control systems to be used in the deposition of successive layers that form the glass preforms used in the fiber optics industry. Qualiflow know-how is recognized by leading companies in the sector, as evidenced by sales close to 150 gas systems in 7 different countries.

Flat Panel Displays
Active matrix screens, endowed with a thin film transistor, require manufacturing methods similar to thoses used in the semiconductor industries. Lately, demand of flat panel displays has been stimulated by the computer screens and laptop markets. These markets should continue to grow with an expected annual increase rate of 22% over the next 4 years. So, Qualiflow, specialist in the design, development and production of UHP gas flow equipment, has positioned itself on this high potential market. [Top]
